UNLEASHED was created for individuals who want to contribute to God’s kingdom in a meaningful way, but don’t feel called to ordained ministry. It is designed to facilitate the discovery of that powerful place where an individual’s passions and strengths intersect with the needs of the world.

UNLEASHED is about helping each participant discern, acknowledge and follow God’s call. This is done with a small covenant group. The StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessment is used to help participants understand their strengths and the Trombone Player Wanted videos to explore how to live into those strengths rather than being distracted by our weaknesses. Scripture is used to explore how God has called others and how "call dodging" goes back to biblical times. Time is spent discussing what's going on in the local community, where God might already be at work, and how we might participate.

The goal of UNLEASHED, to move the lay person beyond the structure of the church and encourage each one to take God’s love boldly into the world, differentiates it from programs aimed at training church committee chairs or conference delegates. UNLEASHED. God Calls. You Respond.
