TAC INNOVATION GRANT APPLICATION

Purpose:  The Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church has created the Innovation Grant Program to help any congregation, pastor or district with potential funding to significantly impact their mission and ministry and success in innovative ways.

Eligibility:  Projects that are eligible for this funding, must address imagining, testing and introducing new ideas and models for making disciples of Jesus Christ in the communities of the Texas Annual Conference.

Awarding of Funds

Grants will be awarded UP TO $10,000

Funds will be allocated by the Innovation Sub-Team of the Conference Leadership Team (CLT).

The Innovation Sub-Team will make recommendations for the awarding of funds to the CLT of the Texas Annual Conference.  The CLT will then act on those recommendations. Grants may be awarded for full or partial funding. Applicants may be asked to come to an interview or answer questions by phone or Zoom regarding their grant prior to selection. 

The deadline for the first round of applications in 2022 will be May 2, 2022, with the awards being announced by May 15, 2022. The second-round deadline will be October 3, 2022 and those awards will be announced by November 15, 2022.
