Rev. Sunny Brown Farley takes new part time position
The Rev. Sunny Brown Farley has taken a part time position as a consultant for the United Methodist Global AIDS Committee (UMGAC), whose focus is to extend education and advocacy to United Methodists and others on addressing the HIV & AIDS crisis in the United States and globally. Farley will continue to serve as pastor for First United Methodist Church in Tyler.
As a consultant, Farley will be collaborating with members of the committee to educate communities about HIV & AIDS and reduce stigma through advocacy. She will be responsible for the design and implementation of special biennial conferences and writing grants for UMGAC.
