Rev. Carol Bruse Named Texas Annual Conference Treasurer, Director of Connectional Resources

Bishop Scott J. Jones has announced that the Rev. Carol Bruse has been appointed Conference Treasurer, and Director of the Center for Connectional Resources for the Texas Annual Conference beginning July 1, 2020.
Rev. Bruse has served The Texas Annual Conference in various leadership roles over the years. Her appointments include ministry at Hillcrest UMC, Memorial Drive UMC, Asbury UMC (Pasadena), Associate Director for the Center for Clergy Excellence, and as Senior Pastor at West University UMC. Rev. Bruse has also been involved as the chairperson for the South District Superintendency Committee from 2004-2010 and as the chairperson for the conference's Board of Ordained Ministry from 2012-2016. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Tech and her Master of Divinity from Southern Methodist University's Perkins School of Theology.
