Two new adult classes are being offered at the Wednesday evening Fellowship at Moody UMC in Galveston.
Incredible Tales and Wonderful Stories
Bishop J. Woodrow Hearn is teaching “Incredible Tales and Wonderful Stories of Who the Methodists Are.” Bishop Hearn’s storytelling will be a joy to experience as he shares the history of the Methodist movement from its beginnings through the church of today.
Tough Conversations: Making Choices About Life and Death from a Faith Perspective
Rev. Dr. Jerry Neff and Rev. Chris Waks are co-teaching a course on Christian ethical choices around issues of life and death entitled: “Tough Conversations:Making Choices about Life and Death from a Faith Perspective.” All classes have been developed and written by the presenters.
March 8 - Intro to Basic Christian Ethics
March 15 - The Right to Manipulate Life?
March 22 - The Right to Take Life?
March 29 - The Right to End Life Early?
April 12 - Conversations with Professionals guest panel discussion
A meal is served at 5:30 p.m. prior to the classes. Parallel classes for all age groups are offered simultaneously with the adult classes at 6:30 p.m.
