International Visitors Walk the Labyrinth

Date Posted: 9/7/2016

Just a few miles from the site of the World Methodist Conference is the beautiful hand-laid stone labyrinth on the campus of St. Paul’s UMC, Houston. Modeled after the 13th century labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral, this path hosted guests from other nations last week as conference attendees and youngsters became modern day pilgrims seeking guidance and centering in their lives.

While the labyrinth is available at most any time, St. Paul’s does offer special walks and Days of Prayer on a regular basis led by Veriditas-trained labyrinth facilitators and Certified Spiritual Directors that employ ritual and prayer to deepen the experience of all who participate.
