Farewell Barbara, Hello Ivana

Date Posted: 1/14/2016

Following Barbara Eoff’s December retirement as Administrative Assistant to the Associate Director in the Center for Clergy Excellence, Ivana Wilson stepped into the position. Ivana is a recent transplant to the Houston area and has lots of experience in event planning, administrative work, and human resources.

Notes Rev. Elizabeth Duffin, Associate Director, Center for Clergy Excellence, “Barbara has been a blessing to our clergy, churches, the committees she’s served, and to the staff.

She will be greatly missed, but her retirement will allow her to spend more time with her family and especially with her husband, Steve.” Attendees at Barbara’s retirement celebration presented her with a special thumbprint design signifying the special imprint she will leave on all who knew and worked with her.”
Ivana Wilson was born into a legacy of ministry, as her grandmother was a Pastor, her father is a Pastor of over 45 years, and her mother is an Evangelist. She has an older brother, Benjamin, and a sister-in-law, Miriam, who serve as Youth Pastors, and Ivana served for seven years as the Leader of the Worship Arts Ministry at New Life Community Church of God in Ohio, where her father is the Pastor.

Ivana began her involvement in ministry at the young age of 7 when she founded Frontline Ambassadors Dance Ministry, to showcase her gifts as a singer and songwriter. She has a heart for the people of God and is driven by a strong passion and desire to see youth recognize their God-worth, cultivate their God-given potential and effectively change the world through the love of Christ. Ivana moved to Houston in August of 2015 in faith because she knew God was calling her to do more for His Kingdom in this city. Before moving to Houston, she worked at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, where she helped plan events for the Office of Development.
