Dr. Jeff Olive Named Central North District Superintendent

Bishop Scott J. Jones announced today that the Rev. Dr. Jeff Olive has been appointed as District Superintendent for the Central North District of the Texas Annual Conference beginning July 1, 2020.

Dr. Olive has served as pastor to several churches including Splendora, Murchison, Ben Wheeler, Marvin UMC, is the founding pastor at Dayspring UMC, and currently serves First Methodist Conroe. He has also served on three campus ministry boards and as Director of New Church Development for the Texas Annual Conference in addition to district committees on Building and Locations and the Committee on District Superintendency.  He has also been a delegate and a reserve delegate for Jurisdictional Conference.

“Jeff has served our conference in many ways over the years and we are excited to have him and his leadership as a new member of the cabinet,” said Bishop Scott J. Jones.

The Central North District office is located in The Woodlands on the campus of Christ United Methodist Church. The district is made up of vibrant, growing congregations which are changing lives and reshaping futures for Jesus Christ. Our mission is to equip those congregations to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world to the glory of God.
