Ministry Partners with Hunters to Feed Hungry

Date Posted: 1/14/2014

St. Mark's UMC in Marshall, TX has started a program that provides venison to local food banks. In December they had at least 17 deer donated which equaled about 900 pounds of meat. The program raises money to pay processors and then advertises for hunters to donate, which they can do at no expense because the money has already been raised.
