Re-Entry Solutions Workshop – Huntsville FUMC

All are invited for food, fun and fellowship on Saturday, November 15th at 9 a.m. for a "Nuts & Bolts Workshop" to help build sustainable ministries. Huntsville FUMC will provide snacks and beverages.
This is a joint endeavor between Pastor Mark Pickett, with Huntsville First United Methodist Church and Restorative Justice Ministries Network to help build sustainable ministries. 
Huntsville First United Methodist Church has graciously extended the opportunity for a "Nuts & Bolts" Workshop for Prison Ministry Volunteers on November 15th.
Objective: Educate Ministries regarding tools and solutions for helping formerly incarcerated individuals to restore their lives after their release.
Identify Ministry needs inside and outside prison to facilitate transforming lives.

  • Free Christian Literature
  • Work Opportunity Tax Credits (Employers eligible for $2,700 tax credit for hiring Ex-Offenders)
  • Exemption forms from Affordable Care Act for formerly incarcerated individuals
  • Free Medical/Prescriptions for recently released individuals
  • Resources for help with spiritual guidance, food, clothes, jobs etc.
  • Listings of Transitional Housing Facilities
