Webinar - Legislation Updates

There will be a webinar covering UMC legislation updates on Wednesday, September 12, 2012.

It is designed for BOM Members, dCOM Members, District Superintendents and anyone who is interested in updates and changes in legislation related to the work of candidates and clergy. There is no registration fee. 
The Webinar will be offered once and presentations will be recorded and posted for later viewing.

Items to be covered will include:

  • The Candidacy Process
  • Provisional Membership and Ordination Exam
  • Administrative Process and Judicial Complaint
  • Security of Appointment
  • Deacon Legislation
  • Local Pastors and Associate Members
  • Extension Ministry and Endorsement

Attendees from different annual conferences are encouraged to gather together for small group discussion between presentations.
