Upcoming PIM Team Leader Trainings

Partners in Mission is offering team leader training for anyone who would like to organize a mission team through their church or district. The next scheduled trainings are:

Saturday - January 14, 9 a.m.–1 p.m., Memorial Drive UMC, 12955 Memorial Dr., Houston, 77079

Saturday - January 21, 9 a.m.–1 p.m., Atascocita UMC, 19325 Pinehurst Trail Dr, Humble, 77346.  

This training can benefit those seeking to organize any mission project whether it is for recovery work, a two-day local project or a three week mission trip thousands of miles away.

This training is designed to help leaders learn to find connectional projects either through Partners in Mission or through other avenues and teaches them how to find and recruit their team. The training will also cover topics such as organizing the team, fundraising, application forms, insurance, safe sanctuary requirements and other information to aid leaders in getting the team safely to the site and back home again.
