Opportunity to Help PIM Teams in Cuba

Date Posted: 1/25/2012

Partners in Mission has two teams headed to Cuba on Feb. 17th from the Texas Annual Conference. One team will work about 6 hours outside of Havana at a Methodist church site, while the other will be working at the Methodist Seminary in Havana. The Methodist Church of Cuba has requested some important items we feel we must take.

The greatest need is for Over the Counter medications. There is a shortage of medications and imported goods are often of poor quality. Please prayerfully consider bringing any of these items listed below:

·      Tylenol Children's

·      Advil

·      Motrin

·      Aspirin

·      multi-vitamins

·      Pre-natal multi-vitamins

·      Antibiotic cream

·      Antifungal cream

·      Anti-itch cream

·      Children's tooth brushes

·      Adult tooth brushes

All of the above must be in their original boxes and packaging. Please use the name brands on the Tylenol, Advil and Motrin. Generic brands are fine for the creams. Every item must have an expiration date of October 2012 or later. We cannot take anything that will expire before October.

Please bring your donations to the PIM office at 5215 Main Street, Houston Texas 77002 before Thursday February, 9. Thank you so much for thinking about the people of Cuba.
