For Pastors of Medium to Large Churches
This information is for medium/large membership churches. See information for small churches.
Cultivating generosity in a church can be challenging. The last time we checked, there were not any money trees growing behind your church!
So, to give you additional tools to take you to the next level financially, we have put together a two-day workshop designed for you as the pastor of a medium-sized church. Growing in Generosity will give you tools to dig in and grow your congregation in their giving - producing a more confident ministry team.
Why should I come?
To learn together as pastors from experts in the field. The workshop will sharpen your financial skills personally and as a senior pastor.
When and where is the workshop?
The two-day workshop is for pastors of medium sized churches and is scheduled for October 21-22, 2019 at Lakeview Conference Center. Both days are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Lakeview meals and housing are included at no cost. You need to plan to attend both days.)
Who is teaching the workshop?
A team of stewardship experts from Horizons Stewardship, led by Joe Park will be conducting our workshop.
Who should attend?
This workshop is for United Methodist Clergy. There will be a second phase of Growing in Generosity that will engage lay members of your church through the recruitment of Generosity Teams.
Who do I contact if I have other questions?
Rev. Robert Besser, Director of Congregational Excellence
713-521-9383, ext. 334 or email@example.com
How do I register?
Pastors participating in this workshop will stay as guests of the TAC at Lakeview for the evening of October 21st. Should you wish to extend your stay, you are welcome to do so. The rate for each additional night is $70. Please select your lodging needs directly through Lakeview:
