Fraud Prevention for Church Administrators & Church Staff

The Center for Connectional Resources will be hosting a meeting discussing fraud prevention for church administrators Tuesday, May 28, 2019. This session will discuss fraud, prevention, and detection for the small nonprofit organization.

Fraud and the church: Fraud can happen to any organization, regardless of type, size, location, etc. The nonprofit sector is one of the largest in our economy and most organizations in this sector are small organizations (including churches) with limited staff and financial resources to commit to prevent and/or detect fraud. Fraud can be especially devastating to small nonprofit organizations.

Presenter Jonathan Tucker has over twenty years of experience in financial administration and management through various positions in industry and public accounting. Since 2009, he has served nonprofit organizations by providing traditional CPA services (audit, tax preparation, and consulting). He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner with experience in fraud prevention and detection.

The event will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 1:30 - 2:30 pm in Room 335A (third floor) at:

Hilton Americas-Houston
