The 18 delegates elected for the Texas Annual Conference continue to plan for the General Conference in 2020, which will be held in Minneapolis in May. Texas Churches Bring Water to Children and Hope to Persecuted Pastors in Laos

Pastors with the Laos Mission Initiative recently returned home from their journey to Southeast Asia, bringing with them photographs to share with their congregations. They wanted to share the fruits of their fundraising labor, how a few churches in Texas were able to help hundreds of children access water and go to school.

You can’t miss the FUMC Joaquin church bus when it drives by. The vehicle is painted white, adorned with multi-colored handprints and reads “Loving All God’s Children” front and back. Pastor Robert Ortigo wants everyone to take notice – so they can get on board and take a ride to church.
