United Methodist Pastor Does Whatever It Takes to Serve: Veterans and Hungry Children

Maud UMC is known in the community as the place to go for those in need. The church provides over 5,000 meals for hungry children each summer and has joined forces with a non-profit to serve veterans and others with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

First Bilingual Retreat in Merged Spanish English Church: Forge Lasting Friendships

Crossroads UMC recently hosted its first-ever bilingual women’s retreat. The church, which was born when Cokesbury and ChristWay joined in 2015, takes pride in being multicultural and serving multiple generations.  One of the ministry’s goals is to unite members across all lines.
