How to Start a School Partnership:
Did you know that schools are ASKING for church partners? More than 40 local schools have reached out to us asking for a church partner. What an opportunity to love our neighbors in Jesus' name! Hear from Houston Graduate School of Theology President James Furr and Texas State Board of Education's Lawrence Allen as we:
  • Cast vision for church-school partnerships
  • Explain the need for church partners in our schools
  • Clarify the separation of church & state
  • Walk through a step-by-step action plan that will help your church building a long-term relationship with a local public school
Leadership Luncheon!
Is your church or school currently in a church-school partnership? Loving Houston is hosting a gathering that will provide church and school leaders an opportunity to talk about challenges, share ideas, and network together in order to expand and grow your partnerships. We hope this will be a time of encouragement and refreshment for you - THANKS for all you do!
  • Roxanna Barnes from Alief ISD will also be sharing with us about Restorative Discipline - you don't want to miss this
