A&M United Methodist Church is turning 100! February 23, 2023, kicks off our Centennial Celebration weekend! Check out the schedule below and invite your friends and family to join us for a special celebration!

Thursday, February 23rd 5:30 pm – Centennial Observance Celebration in the Sanctuary

The Observance Celebration will be a 30-45 minute service in the Sanctuary that will include former pastors, a history lesson from Steve Beachy, and music from the Texas A&M Trombone Choir.

Friday, February 24th 12:00 pm – Ministry Luncheons:

Have you been involved in a ministry at our church? Check out one of our Friday Luncheons!  We are having Ministry Luncheons to connect with current and former members of different ministries throughout the church. If you do not fall in to one of them we encourage you to attend the Friends of A&M UMC luncheon in the Great Hall. The luncheon for Youth Counselors will be on Saturday.

5:30 pm – Gala Dinner in the Great Hall

The Gala Dinner on Saturday evening is a formal dinner to celebrate 100 years of missions and ministry. This will include a catered meal, live dinner music, and historic memorabilia throughout the Great Hall. A live-auction of our Centennial Quilt made by current members will take place at 6:40 pm in the Great Hall.

7:00 pm – 100 Years of Music Concert in the Sanctuary

Following the Gala Dinner all are invited to the Sanctuary for our 100 Years of Music at A&M UMC Concert led by Michael Vaughn.

Sunday, February 26th

8:30 am – Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary

9:45 am – Contemporary Worship in the Great Hall

11:00 am – Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary

Worship services on Sunday morning will include some of our former pastors in each service.

12:00 pm – Centennial Luncheon in the Great Hall

Following worship, everyone will gather in the Great Hall for a catered Centennial Luncheon. All are invited.
