Communications Specialist - Westminster UMC
This position requires someone who is creative, social media savvy, disciplined and flexible. Tasks include preparing print and digital communications including the weekly bulletins & monthly newsletter publication; maintaining the membership database; creating PowerPoint slides and presentations for worship; working with volunteers and staff members for publicity and administrative needs; and various other duties. Prior office and iMovie experience required. Familiarity with social media platforms, video editing and website management necessary. Microsoft Office skills required (especially Publisher and PowerPoint). The position hours vary which include office hours during the week, as well as online hours for Sunday morning worship services.
