Children's Ministry Internship - FUMC Jasper

The Children’s Ministry of FUMC Jasper is looking for a Summer Children’s Ministry Intern to join our ministry to children ages Pre-K through 6^th grade. This is a paid position. The intern will report to the Pastor, assisting in the ministry of FUMC Jasper's children’s ministry program, and will be involved in the planning & implementation of children’s ministry events, including:

            - Summer Camp (at Lakeview Methodist Camp)
            - VBS
            - Weekly Children’s activities Programming 
            - End-of-Summer Retreat & Other Special Events.
            - Potential Local Mission/Service Projects
           

We are looking for a college-age adult who is interested in pursuing a vocational ministry career--those candidate who are specifically interested in children’s ministries will be given priority.

Dates:  May 15th - August 15th (slight flexibility in start/end date)
Hours:  35-40 hours per week, plus camp & special events
Pay:  $300 / week for 12 weeks--$3600 total for the summer
Stay:  Housing is Provided
