Commission on Archives and History

PURPOSE: As stipulated in The Book of Discipline, 639 and 2512.

To record and preserve the history of the Conference to connect with the visions and missions of our heritage as the ground of our present ministries and future vision.

It is the mission of the Commission on Archives and History

1. to preserve the official records of the Texas Annual Conference
2. to assist local churches preserve their own historical records
3. to provide a ministry of education and interpretation about the
history of the Texas Annual Conference
