East Texas Medical Center (ETMC) provides clergy Group Health savings!

East Texas Medical Center Hospitals have agreed to support The Texas Annual Conference by not collecting deductibles and coinsurance from actively-at-work clergy (and their dependents) enrolled in the Group Health Benefits program. This is similar to the arrangement that the TAC has enjoyed with The Methodist Hospital for years. For details, click here. 

If you anticipate relocating this year, save these 2010 Itinerancy and Relocation Event dates (these events are required for all relocating TAC clergy and first-time TAC clergy appointments):

TAC Wellness Program announces new clergy incentives

The Group Health Benefits Committee is pleased to announce that clergy attending a 2010 TAC Day of Wellness with Methodist Hospital will receive a rebate of the increase in their 2010 GHB personal contribution from 2009. Clergy who have previously attended a Day of Wellness are also eligible for the rebate. For info about the GHB Wellness Rebate, click here. 

Attend a 2010 Day of Wellness!

There will be 15 dates in 2010 to attend a Day of Wellness with Methodist Hospital, including 6 in East Texas.  For a list of dates and locations, click here. Registration for 2010 TAC Days of Wellness is available online through Methodist Hospital. To register, click here. 

Young Clergy Family Retreat, Camp Cho Yeh, April 16 – 18, 2010

Register by March 15 for a weekend of family fun and discussion focusing on parenting issues prevalent in clergy families. For further info and registration form, click here.

2010 Ambassadors’ Endowment Grant applications are available now! 

Grants reimburse young clergy age 33 or younger for out of pocket seminary tuition, fees, and book costs. Applications must be received no later than May 1. For invitation letter, click here.  For grant application, click here.
