2009 FALL RETREAT chair, Lisa Mayhugh, offered the 2009 Retreat theme, "What Not to Wear" with Romans 12:2 the emphazing text: "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Retreat is scheduled for October 15-17, 2009 at Lakeview Conference Center. Anyone interested in helping is encouraged to contact Lisa. Table cards offered, "Come join us on an adventure that will promise to be fun, relaxing and SATISFYING. It's time we set some time aside for ourselves so that we can come together and drink in the fullness of God. There will be LAUGHTER, GAMES, FOOD, FELLOWSHIP, and most of all, some alone time with God. Now doesn't that sound inviting? Make plans now to come join us."

TEXAS CONFERENCE CLERGY SPOUSE ASSOCIATION

ANNUAL LUNCHEON REVIEW

Rachel Norris, "The Pottery Lady" was the TCCSA (Texas Conference Clergy Spouse Association) 2009 Luncheon Speaker. Ms. Norris compared faith to pottery and clay as she created beautiful pottery. We extend our appreciation to luncheon chair: Ianthe Shelton and her team for creating a wonderful event this year. Attendees were also blessed by information on benefits shared by B T Williamson, Director for The Center for Clergy Excellence. Nominees for TCCSA officers were presented and elected during the luncheon. Scheduled to begin at the close of the 2009 Fall Retreat, incoming officers include: Charlee Garbs, President; Jill Krone, Vice-President; Natalie Gilmore, Secretary; Paula Ryburn, Treasurer; and Erica Hall, Publicity.
