First UMC Freeport to host Rev. Dr. Jaime Clark-Soles, April 22-24

The Gospel of John: A Weekend with Rev. Dr. Jaime Clark-Soles
Jaime Clark-Soles is an Associate Professor of New Testament at SMU's Perkins School of Theology and an ordained American Baptist minister. In John 10:10, Jesus declares: "I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” What could he mean? What does an abundant life look like? How might one find it or be found by it? The Gospel of John provides ample clues. It beckons us to “come and see” and invites us to experience the poetry of the created order around us and within us. So come (re)discover the richness of the Gospel whose uniqueness and layers of mystery continue to grip its readers and whose unanticipated surprises delight at every turn! ––Rev. Dr. Jaime Clark-Soles
