Nancy Spinnato Retiring March 31
Nancy began working with the Texas Annual Conference on August 14, 2000 as an administrative assistant for Rev. Jim Crawford. She has worked with two other treasurers: Bishop Bob Hayes and current Treasurer Dr. Elijah A. Stansell.
Nancy has been very instrumental in assisting with bank reconciliations, apportionments and personnel matters for the Conference.
Accountant Peggy Miller says, "Nancy has always been very helpful and kind to everyone. Her demeanor and personality are qualities that most of us strive to attain. She has the personality that can handle even the most difficult situations with grace."
Coworker Tracey Blackshire says, "Nancy has been quite an asset to our department, and has being LOVING since the day I started in 2007. I treasure her wisdom and her stories of her family. She has been a great inspiration to me and I will miss her dearly. What I will miss mostly about Nancy is her verbiage
(sometimes she will end her statement with ‘WHATEVER’) and that just cracks me up."
Peggy agrees. "Nancy has a wonderful sense of humor, and has kept us in stitches with some of her personal stories." Family is very important to Nancy Spinnato, so she has decided to retire in order to spend more time with her family: daughter, Natalie, grandson, Matthew, son, Kevin and his wife, Kate, and new grandson, Aaron. "I will miss Nancy's humor the most, but at least we have many sweet memories to cherish," says coworker Rochele Cebrun.
"Nancy has been a great team member of our fiscal office. She has an exemplary spirit of kindness and generosity," adds Connectional Resources Director Dr. Elijah Stansell.
