United Methodist Publishing House Reports Revenue
The board of The United Methodist Publishing House, which encompasses Cokesbury and Abingdon Press, completed its annual meeting on Oct. 30, reporting sales of $2 million over budget projections and better-than-expected net operating revenue of $210,000 in a year of major retooling for the 225-year-old ministry. Abingdon Press announced the planned launch in spring 2014 of Covenant Bible Study. Cokesbury.com cited a 14 percent increase in sales.
