LCI 2015 Coming to The Woodlands UMC in April

Date Posted: 2/18/2015

The Large Church Initiative (LCI) is coming to The Woodlands UMC April 20-22, 2015. This is a conference that equips pastors and church staff members to be more effective in ministry for the Kingdom. It is held annually and travels to various large United Methodist churches around the nation.

The theme for LCI 2015 is “Imagine: Limitless God, Boundless Possibilities." Imagine greater service, greater storytelling, and greater impact as we reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Ministry tracks will be offered in the following areas: Administration, Discipleship, Missions, Outreach, and Worship.

Keynote and featured speakers include: Mark Beeson, Pete Briscoe, Jessica LaGrone, Ken Werlein, Rudy Rasmus, Justin Wise, Olu Brown and Kem Meyer.

In addition to keynote speakers and informational workshops, LCI offers a time of renewal for church workers. Leading a community can be a drain of physical, spiritual and emotional resources. This is an opportunity to relax, worship the Lord, spend time in prayer and connect with others experiencing the same trials and victories in ministry.
