30th Annual PAUMCS Conference Deadline Extended
The Professional Association of United Methodist Church Secretaries/Staff will meet for their annual conference in Richmond, VA, April 12-15 at the Hilton Richmond Hotel and Spa at Short Pump.
Workshop titles include:
· Does Your Church Have a Prayer: Are you in Maintenance of Mission?
· How to Recruit and Keep Volunteers
· History of United Methodism in Virginia-A Drama
· The United Methodist General Conference 2012
This year’s hands-On Mission Project will be Stop Hunger Now. Participants will have the opportunity to package dehydrated, high protein and highly nutritious meals used in crisis situations and in school feeding programs and orphanages in developing countries around the world.

The Free Time Outing for the conference includes a visit to the Virginia State Capitol and will highlight the United Methodist History in Richmond. Scholarships are available as well as list of roommates to share hotel expense.
The PAUMCS Executive Committee is extending the early registration fee of $375 to register for the PAUMCS 30th Annual Conference until March 20 for National PAUMCS members. The rate for non members is $425. If you wish to join PAUMCS prior to registering please contact Elizabeth Feldman, membership secretary. The hotel reservations are made directly through Hilton Richmond Hotel and Spa at Short Pump. After 5 p.m. March 13, available rooms and the PAUMCS rate are not guaranteed.
