New Special Fabric Items Available at Annual Conference
Special fabric was designed for our conference by United Methodists from Cote d’Ivoire with the guidance of our Lay Leader, Leah Taylor.
You will see the Texas influence with the beautiful bluebonnets coordinated with our United Methodist emblem. This fabric was ordered and shipped to us to help raise money for the Cote d’Ivoire Adopt-a-Student program and other educational needs of the children.
Mary Landry of Servants of Christ UMC recently delivered items made with the special fabric from Cote d’Ivoire. A number of these items were made by Maria Pena, wife of Jose Pena, associate pastor at Servants of Christ.
You will want to take time to stop by the Cote d’Ivoire display table at annual conference to see Maria’s hand painted, beautifully designed tote bags. Come early because these will sell quickly.
These bags and many other items along with fabric by the yard will be sold at conference to help raise money for the Cote d’Ivoire Adopt a Student Program. We are so grateful to the Servants of Christ sewing ministry ladies for contributing their time and talent to help us raise money for this program.
