Student Forum 2011

United Methodist college and university students will have the opportunity to explore leadership at Student Forum 2011 at the University of Evansville, May 26-29. Student Forum is the national leadership conference of the United Methodist Student Movement, sponsored by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry.

Student leaders from all over the U.S. will gather in Evansville, Ind., to attend the event. The theme of the conference, which is planned and organized by college students, is “God is Calling. . . . Will You Answer?" The conference will include leadership training, spiritual formation, and networking.

The registration fee to attend is $75 per person. The fee includes all conference materials, lodging, meals, and a $5 contribution to the UMSM Mission Fund.

Our focus for the event this year will be for participants to explore the many ways God calls and how God might be calling them to live. Additionally, students will have the chance to consider possible legislation to present to the 2012 General Conference.

Although registration for Student Forum is open to all young adult college and university students, each annual conference may still identify three voting student delegates and six alternate student delegates.
