Pastoral Luncheon: Helping Congregational Members in Crisis
Have you ever worked with a congregational member in crisis? Did you feel unprepared? Would you like to know more about ministering to people in crisis?
St. Luke’s UMC, Houston is hosting an educational luncheon for clergy about how to help congregational members in crisis on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM.
Join us for lunch and hear from a panel of individuals well versed in helping people who are suicidal and/or are in crisis. Panelists include a family therapist, an executive pastor, a Houston Police Department crisis intervention team member, and a psychiatrist.
The event is $10 and includes lunch and a certificate of attendance.
