Rev. Victor Garoutte, died Saturday, July 17. His funeral service will be at Aley United Methodist Church in Seven Points at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21.
Rev. Edwin Earl Lock, Father-in-law of Rev. Wesley Welborn, and father of Becky Welborn, Chapelwood UMC, Lake Jackson, died Sunday, July 18, at Palestine Regional Medical Center. Rev. Lock was a Methodist minister and a member of the Texas Annual Conference. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 22 at Bailey & Foster Chapel in Palestine, with Dr. Wesley Welborn and Rev. Dan Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery (Percilla).
